The Church That I See... The Vision of City Church
The Church that I see is a Church of extreme influence. A Church so large that it refuses to be ignored. A Church growing so fast that it cannot be contained.
The Church that I see has powerful worship that touches Heaven and changes Earth; worship that does not cease to encourage people; worship that exalts Christ with every faithful word, and every hopeful song.
The Church that I see has an altar full of God’s people who are answering His call to Salvation.
The Church that I see is so completely reliant on the Holy Spirit that nothing can stand in its way. It is unstoppable.
The Church that I see is overflowing with unified, praying people who are filled with faith, hope, and love.
The Church that I see is a Church with a thriving vision that changes the lives of people forever. A Church where hope is given, where love is found, and where compassion comes naturally. I see a Church where questions are answered, and potential is fulfilled.
The Church that I see has people so dedicated to God’s plan that they will not rest until revival has swept this land.
The Church that I see is a Church committed to raising up a generation filled with leaders and not followers, a generation ready to fight and not fail, a generation empowered and not discouraged, A generation that will not accept defeat.
The Church that I see has Jesus as its head, the Holy Spirit as its help, and The Great Commission as its focus.
The Church that I see is City Church Chicago.
