In 2007 Kent and Alli planted City Church in Downtown Chicago. Their calling is to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the city of Chicago in a fresh and relevant way. Their passion is to share the hope of Jesus by reaching out to the community. Their goal is to build the church make a difference in people’s everyday lives by sharing the powerful word of God.
Kent Munsey
Kent Munsey is one of America's emerging young leaders. His vision-driven teaching, value for relationships, and gift for strategic planning contribute to his increasing success as a leader. His passion is to develop a leadership culture at City Church and build a team of leaders who will partner together to make a significant impact on the Chicago-land area.

Alli Munsey
Alli Munsey is a strong and vibrant leader. In addition to mothering two young sons, Alli is co-lead Pastor at City Church. In 2008, Alli launched the ministry City Chicks, a women's ministry with a cause. This ministry has adopted various social justice causes and is passionate about doing hands-on ministry to kids and teens in need around the city. Additionally, Alli leads the worship team at City Church and runs a small group. Her sweet and bubbly style make her a natural teacher and motivator.

Kent and Alli have two amazing boys, Malachi and Kausti. While they love spending time at home with their family, they truly enjoy the city. You will frequently see them strolling down Michigan avenue, enjoying the atmosphere, or grabbing a latte at your local coffee shop. They love the culture and geography of Chicago and are excited about what God is doing in this city.
