God is in Control

MESSAGE BY PASTOR PHIL MUNSEY

This passage in Revelations is a prayer that will release heaven in your life, that embraces the bigness of God, tells you who you are in God and what you’re doing here on earth.

Revelations 1:4-6

Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Grace and Peace are the best ways to start your day. Own your grace place--where you have favor and everything is easy. Don’t let anyone take your peace.

Your God is in control of your world.

God is in control. Your God is in control of your world. God transcends time. With God, it’s always NOW. There is no past, present, or future. You’re touching eternity when you're in God’s presence. His presence gives you an eternal perspective: the perspective to see through things, and then perseverance to see things through. God rewrites all things for the good--your history, the things you thought were mistakes.

His presence gives you an eternal perspective: the perspective to see through things, and then perseverance to see things through.

Jesus Christ is the faithful witness. Hebrews 1:1-3 NKJV tells us that Jesus is the fullness of the God-head, the express image of God. Jesus is God modified to fit our screens, to fit between our ears, so we can understand God.

Jesus is the firstborn from the dead. God became flesh. Everything Jesus did, he did as a man- subject to every limitation we face, meaning that what Jesus was able to do, we are able to do.

Jesus is God modified to fit our screens.

When we have Jesus, we have eternal life. Hebrews 2:14-15 (NKJV) tells us that Jesus defeated death, the ultimate manipulator of mankind. Every bondage you’ve ever faced or will face is linked to the fear of death. Everything you do is either through faith or fear. All the things that make us shrink back in life are rooted in the fear of death, which was defeated through Jesus.

Everything you do is either through faith or fear.

The God that spun the world into existence loves us. We love him because He first loved us. When we drift from our love, we drift from our gifts, our calling and our territory. Never lose your first love.

Past, present, and future, my sins have been washed away, and He did it with his own blood. The minute you believe that your sins are forgiven, that’s when grace is released to transform you. Grace penetrates past religion, past shame. You will never have a problem with your sin vertically; only horizontally. When you believe God has forgiven you, it will make it easier to forgive others.

The minute you believe that your sins are forgiven, that’s when grace is released to transform you.

He has made us kings and priests. You are a king; you have dominion in this world. Kings have authority here on the earth. He has made us to have dominion. The anointing of heaven is always on us - God is closing the gap between heaven and earth in our lives. Our jobs are not segregated from what we are and who we are.

He has also made us priests, meaning that we will always have access to approach the throne of grace. In the Old Testament we learn that God doesn’t look at the priest; he looks at the sacrifice. Because of Jesus, the perfect sacrifice, we can always go before the throne of God.

2 Corinthians 5:12-19 tells us that we have been given the message of reconciliation. Our purpose on earth is to tell others that they are reconciled to God because he has reconciled us to himself, and we have nothing to fear and can live our lives to the fullest.
