Day 10: God is a Healer
“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” 1 PETER 2:24 NKJV
Where do we turn when we receive a diagnosis or are walking alongside a family member facing illness? Is our first reaction to find solutions in our strength, or do we turn to the Healer?
God's Word repeatedly displays His healing power. He often activates His power in response to our prayers.
As we believe for our healing or intercede for others who need healing, remember that the One who was, is, and is to come will always show Himself faithful. Our job is to trust Him, remember His promises, obey His divine direction, and allow Him to do the rest.
On your tenth day of fasting, remember:
● God is a healer.
● As you pray, God will move in response to your prayers.
● Invite others into your situation to pray with you.
Prayer Focus:
Thank God that He is a Healer. Ask God to help you place your trust in Him for complete healing. Pray in faith, believing that God will move.
Reflection Question: Where do you need miraculous healing? Who can you pray for today that is experiencing suffering?
